Junior League Report

Hi all

We’ve now had official confirmation of the final results from the Junior League on Saturday. Points as follows:

We had 8 more wins than the first round and looked a much stronger team, despite a number of absences across age groups – so a massive well done to all of the swimmers, especially those who came in to the team and those who swam up in age groups above their own.

Individual wins on the night were Charley Holmes 12/u 50m Breast, Man Kai Au 12/u 50m Free, Mia Copping 11/u 50m Back, Lyndon Wilson 11/u 50m Back, Evie Lilley 9/u 25m Fly & Free
Relay wins: Girls 12/u Free Charley, Niamh, Annie, Lillia and the Girls 11/u Free & Medley: Mia, Rhianna, Abi & Becca.

Overall we were quicker in 73% of races contested in both R1 & 2 with 2 less DQs as well.

A massive thanks must go to Alex, Richard, Sophie & Nigel for their poolside help as well as Jo and Ann for officiating.

Next & final round is 8th September – make sure it’s in your diary. A full team is essential as we want to finish this years league as strongly as possible to continue our momentum
