Fred Furniss Condolences

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former LVSC Head Coach Fred Furniss. Fred was our Head Coach from 2009-2012 and was instrumental in progressing the club and several of our swimmers onto the national platform.

All those who knew Fred will testify to his immense passion for the sport, his expertise and huge knowledge, but above all else for being a good friend, mentor and all round great person.

On behalf of all swimmers, we thank Fred for his massive contribution to the sport both in Lincolnshire and the wider community. He is hugely respected by us all and will be greatly missed.

Our deepest condolences go to his family at this sad time.
