2009 NATIONALS: day two report

A busy morning for Oliver Bitowt who swam in the heats for 3 events earning himself a place in tonight's 200 fly and 200 individual medley in the 14 year old boys finals.

Another confident swim and new long course PB for Oliver Richmond in the 100m freestyle in a swift 57.38.

In the finals a disputed one-handed touch robbed Ollie Bitowt of a long course PB in the 200 fly - a pointer to all our swimmers to ensure that those two-handed touches are more than 150 per cent visible to even the least friendly of turn judges!

Undaunted Ollie put the experience behind him and swam a courageous 200 IM final totally unfazed by the earlier disappointment to bring home a new long course personal best time of 2.17.77.
